We coordinate three volunteer programs over 600 volunteers who work with people with disabilities: Community Visitors, Independent Third Persons and Community Guardians. Our volunteers promote the rights of people with disabilities and bring about significant positive changes.
Our volunteers come from all walks of life, cultures and age groups, and live across Victoria. They include social workers, doctors and stay-at-home parents.
‘Visiting people with a disability and getting an understanding of their circumstances enables me to work towards helping them get what they deserve – their rights’ – Neville Mariott, Community Visitor
