Education and Training
About this page
OPA provides a range of information sessions for all audiences, including community education sessions, as well as training for professional groups.
The information sessions available address a range of topics, including:
- enduring powers of attorney
- guardianship
- administration
- medical consent.
Information sessions run for one to two hours, and we require a minimum of 20 attendees. We happily present to larger audiences as well.
These sessions are delivered by experienced staff who deal with the matters on a daily basis. We also provide a number of supporting publications, which are often handed out as part of the information session. Alternately, these publications can be ordered via the Publications section of this website.
OPA also offers professional development training sessions, with fees comparable to industry standards. These half or full day workshops are targeted at professional staff, and we can create or tailor our existing training packages to suit your needs.
All sessions are delivered by OPA staff with relevant experience and training qualifications, and each session is designed for up to 25 participants.
