Strictly for professionals - a Practice Matters forum
Guardianship and Administration Act 2019
This Act takes effect on 1 March 2020 and recognises one of the most important human rights for people with cognitive disability – the right to make and participate in decision making that affects their lives. Practically, what does this mean?
This interactive forum will feature a Q & A with an Advocate Guardian about their thoughts and reflections on supported decision-making and will provide information about the changes under this new Act.
This seminar is for health and social services professionals.
Please advise of any support needs or other requirements.
