Posthumous honour for OPA volunteer Graham Dickinson

Former OPA volunteer Graham Dickinson has been posthumously recognised with a medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in this year's Australia Day Honours.

Graham died 11 December, 2024.

A long-serving Community Visitor, Graham was a Regional Convenor in the Mental Health Stream and Acting Regional Convenor in the Residential Services Stream for many years. He was also extremely active in the Gisborne community, serving on St Paul’s Anglican Church committee and volunteering at its op shop, and with GREAT (Gisborne Region Events Activities and Tourism) Association.
